Good enough to beat Slovenia and Macedonia but not good enough to beat the likes of Germany, Spain or even Italy.
And that is not a moan. It is stating a realistic opinion.
If I were moaning I would be lambasting Roy and the FA as being penny pinching, two-bob, unambitious cunts.
On the other hand I am not too fussed about following England anyway.

Don't think anyone expects up to win the Euro's but there is no excuse not to have a good tourny. Easy to be negative, but we DO have some players that can open up any defense.

Don't pick them and folk are underwhelmed. Sometimes it's better to have spirit rather than names, which is what people use to moan about.
Basically there are no names no, short of Rooney, so support these boys.

It's the International equivalent of a workmanlike mid-table squad.
Good enough to qualify for finals and reach the quarters (at least while we still get seeded) but found lacking against the better teams.

Overall the squad is poor, but we still have very good players. If Woy can get something going with the likes of Barkley, Walcott, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Rooney, Sturridge, Wilshere and with Milner and Delph holding that side can do well at the Euro's. The defense is the big worry, but with Stones, Clyne and Shaw now emerging, maybe not.
